I am very proud to be the recipient of a 2013'
CANADIAN WEBLOG AWARD, for MEDIA & JOURNALISM.
​With Off the Beaten Palate going live this past year its quite exciting to be recognized and awarded as second place winner in Media & Journalism.
Amongst the three winners in this category were two music blogs, which is ironic because without music I would be lost!  And its is such a driver in telling a story.  Like, "turn on the music and start writing!"  And on many occasions I just turn it on and do a wild dance all by myself in my New York studio apartment.   
The fact that Off the Beaten Palate resonated with the jurors is both humbling and rewarding.
This award is not a popularity contest, but based on design and content. 
I personally thank all the jurors and especially Elan Morgan for making these awards happen.
